My name is Timothy Ochoa, I am 15 years old out of Sandy, Utah. I have been riding bikes since I was 3 years old. Riding bikes has been a thrill since I first started riding. I went mountain biking for the first time in 2015 at Vail lake in Temecula. As soon as I started going down the trail my addiction began. I began Racing in the SoCal NICA series in 2017 with murrieta mesa high school. I placed 24th overall in the state. After that season I raced my first enduro at vail lake and took 11th in the jr open men. After that I moved out to Utah and started my NICA season out here and did pretty well. I placed 6th in the state out of 230 racers! I started racing enduro and Downhill for the DVO gravity series in December. I placed 1st place in the enduro cat 2 15-18 men and a 2nd place in cat 2 15-18 men downhill. I raced all three of the Downhill and enduros and took 2nd overall in enduro and 3rd overall in Downhill. All this racing and being up on the podium just gave me so much Motivation! Riding my bike is what makes me happy and always will. My 2019 season has been going great and I’m still looking forward to it.
